Backyard Babies has returned to nail down some more drum trax,.
Great guys, fun to have around.
They also hold the unofficial record in providing garbage!! 1 BIG bag a day, BEAT that!!
2nd place is held by Stockholm Sleaze Allstars, and they were 60 people!!!
Just so you know, we will keep you up to speed on the competion....

Candlemass Is Back

Tonight's gonna be cool, Mats Leven (Krux) and Thomas Vikström (Candlemass) is doing backups for the Candlemass single "Lucifers Rising".
This is gonna great.

The Steevi Jaimz album is taking shape, today we made the last recordings, mix is left to do.

We have had meetings and such this morning, lots of stuff to keep up.

The last few days, Monday-wednesday Lennart has worked with Swedish artists Peter & Eva, a single was recorded, more on that when it is official;)
All I can say is.....not fun when the monitor system dies on you while 6 musicians is waiting to be able to start on the recording....hahaha... we got it up and running within an hour or so.

John Norum is getting done mixing, last day Thursday.

Platform, (Chris Laney & Anders Ringman) has reunited to finish up UK glam rocker Steevi Jaimz album.

Today Sulo and his friends starting a session with Lennart.

Busy Day

Last few days we have had both studios running, a wicked mix of music streaming out of the control rooms. Mr John Norum of Europe fame is mixing his new Solo Album with Peer Stappe (Gemini Five, Dos Flamingos and more) behind the wheel.

We also have Bo Kaspers Orkester, a great Swedish band recording their new album with Lennart Östlund.

Me....well, I am currently doing pre production with Finish Pop Punk band Dead By Gun (Sony/BMG)... we will start recording their follow up to "BIG WAVE" in June.

I have also had the time to sit down and plan for this weeks Doom recording with Candlemass.... The song "Lucifer Rising" is amazing!!! So tomorrow I need to book a choir to get that feel, needs to chill your bones.

Doom Day;)

Well today, ......will go to history, Computer meltdown, DVD crash, harddrive crash.... still we delivered the goods!!

Polar Studios, aint always perfect, but turns out brilliant!

Man It's cold;)

Today we've had some guys over to go over our aircondition.
We have had problems, we even named the B studio to "Hawaii" just because of the heat....
The guys did an amazing job, a matter of fact, too good of a job, it is freezing cold now!! hahaha Polar!!!!

They will return to adjust and make sure the climat is to our satisfaction.

Here's a picture of Lennart, frozen, striking a pose while mixing a new female duo...more on that as it developes.

About time

Hey You All.

Since we have so much going on at the studio, we haven't had a shot getting the time to get a proper homepage set up....

In the mean while we set this up, so you  know we are alive and kicking.

Past few months, we have set up the studio, done tons of work including acts like:

Backyard Babies, Brian Robertson (Thin Lizzy/Motörhead), Thomas Ledin, Babylon Bombs, John Norum, Easy Action, and many many more.

From now on we will report with pictures, info and just everyday stories right here.

We hope you will enjoy this, I know we will;)
